Gala Transportation Guide

If you are driving into the region, please refer to the map links  that have already been provided to you via the initial itinerary. You  can also find these links and a full timetable on our Gala website at: https://lmwgala2026.net/itinerary-%26-event-details.

We are pleased to suggest transportation arrangements through a trusted local provider - Waterloo Taxi.

Airport and local transportation services are available for all attendees.

Service is available to and from the following airports:

• Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)
• Hamilton International Airport (YHM)
• London International Airport (YXU)

Rates (per vehicle):

• Incoming (Airport → Region): $130.00
• Outgoing (Region → Airport): $110.00

Capacity:

• Up to 3 passengers per vehicle (depending on luggage)

• All airport transportation must be booked and prepaid in advance to ensure prompt service. Call ahead or book online in advance through one of the following options:

If you are arriving at YKF, you may:

• Book via phone or online with Waterloo Taxi (details above), or
• Use the Lokal App (see below)

We recommend using the Lokal Waterloo Taxi App for in-town transportation if you are looking for a better rate than standard rideshare options like Uber or Lyft.

Search for “Lokal Waterloo Taxi” in the Apple App  Store or Google Play Store to download. Or you can contact the taxi  company for Lokal Options via the methods below if you'd like to avoid  downloading the app.

You will automatically receive the discounted rate.

We are pleased to provide included bus transportation for the three main events. All shuttles will operate to and from the host hotel: Hampton Inn, St. Jacobs.

• Thursday: Cocktail Event at Conestoga College
• Friday: Oktoberfest Event at Concordia Club
• Saturday: Gala Dinner at Cambridge Hotel

Departure from Hampton Inn & Suites:

• 6:00 PM → 6:15 PM arrival
• 6:30 PM → 6:45 PM arrival

Return from Conestoga College:

• 8:30 PM → 8:45 PM arrival
• 9:00 PM → 9:15 PM arrival

Departure from Hampton Inn & Suites:

• 5:45 PM → 6:05 PM arrival
• 6:00 PM → 6:20 PM arrival
• 6:20 PM → 6:40 PM arrival

Return from Concordia Club:

• 9:00 PM → 9:25 PM arrival (Early Departure)
• 10:00 PM → 10:20 PM arrival
• 11:35 PM → 11:55 PM arrival (Late-Night Loop)

Departure from Hampton Inn & Suites:

• 5:30 PM → 6:00 PM arrival
• 5:45 PM → 6:15 PM arrival
• 6:00 PM → 6:30 PM arrival

Return from Cambridge Hotel:

• 9:45 PM → 10:15 PM arrival (Early Departure)
• 10:15 PM → 10:45 PM arrival
• 10:45 PM → 11:15 PM arrival (Late-Night Loop)

• Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for all departures to ensure timely service
• Seating is first come, first served
• Shuttle schedules will also be posted at the host hotel
• Bruce Kingsbury will be onsite and available via phone to assist with any coordination needs

• Local members hosting daytrip/special events will be available to assist you with directions and transportation ideas for travelling to and from Stratford, Elora, etc. 
• All  travel throughout the region or to/from auxiliary events (cooking  classes, food & wine synergy class, etc.) is the responsibility of  the attendees
