This exclusive experience offers an intimate, insider’s look at the heart of Elora—its history, art, food, natural beauty, and community. The entire day is designed to be comfortable, unhurried, and full of meaningful connections.

Arrange transport yourself or with a fellow Marmitons Member to arrive in Elora for 10:30 a.m.

Begin your day with a warm welcome from the Centre’s Executive Director.
Learn about Elora’s rich history, artistic spirit, limestone architecture, and culinary culture.
Explore the School House Arts Collective, a working hub of 12 local artists creating in real time.

Select one of three guided explorations led by local hosts:

Visit glass, pottery, jewelry, and mixed‑media studios to meet artists at work.

Explore Elora’s iconic limestone buildings and enjoy a scenic walk along the Grand River, including the cliffs that supplied stone for the historic Elora Mill.

Go behind the scenes with local favourites including:
• Elora Distilling Company
• Elora Brewing Company
• Tony’s Sourdough Pizza
• Additional artisan producers

Enjoy an exceptional chef‑prepared lunch in a stunning natural setting.
You’ll also tour their newly completed Passive House, a world‑class example of innovative sustainable design overlooking the Irvine River.

Wander the village, explore shops, or simply enjoy the charm and scenery at your own pace.

Arrive back in plenty of time before the evening events.
